Depending on where you are moving to depends on renting a truck with one way service or drop off at same location. If you are moving from New Jersey to California you are not going to want to drive the moving truck rental all the way back to New Jersey. One way truck rental is usually more expensive, but do you have a choice?


Choose your moving truck rental size. Yes, there are more choices but they are to your benefit. You don't want to pay for a box truck if you are just moving a chair, desk, and a dresser. In this case pick the pick up truck. But either way make sure it comes with a lift to assist you with heavy furniture. If more people used lifts to carry furniture in a moving truck, chiropractors would be homeless. Better yet, adding a dolly to the mix of moving truck rental and lift is even better, especially if your deadbeat brother didn't come to help you.

If you have not noticed, the moving truck rental is much larger than your Honda civic. If you are delivering furniture to a self storage unit make sure the self storage property has access for a large moving truck rental. This will save a lot of aggravation ahead of time if the self storage property is anti big truck. Clearance is another caution to take into consideration. Plan your route to your destination ahead of time to make sure the moving truck rental will fit under bridges and tunnels.
