Acne is a very stubborn skin disorder; I guess you must be experiencing this skin disorder currently and as you know the presence of acne pimples can seriously interfere with your social life. These annoying little monsters can ruin special events in our lives. Even though most acne sufferers like you may not experience pain or physical discomfort, we all know the jests, snickers, lousy jokes and the silly names we are sometimes called is very painful. That kind of pain is what some "shrink" would call psychological and emotional pain. But how many adult acne sufferers go to see a psychologist because of the pain they suffer when it comes to their social lives? Not much.

As a former acne sufferer I know that even though when it comes healthcare, acne is a minor ailment but the presence of acne pimples on my face had a strong effect on my life --- the social aspect. I was very self-conscious of my face. The painful aspect was how I was always shy around girls I was interested in because of the little monsters on my face. But most sufferers of this skin disorder like me would usually display some or in some cases all of the following:


**Low self-confidence
**Frustration
**Feelings of inadequacy
**Depression
**Refusal to socialize
**Low self-esteem

The major issue with this "annoying skin disorder" is that it affects your looks and those ugly pimples are sure to get a lot of negative stares from people. When my face was filled with acne pimples I was living a very unfulfilled life. The only thing I was happy with at that time was my grades. No social life meant I had more than enough time to study without thinking of any meeting, party, or dates.

You do not have to be stuck with acne. There are various methods of adult acne treatments available to you. The first step you should take in your war against those "monsters" is proper acne skin care. Following these skin care tips would definitely erase those ugly looking pimples off your face.

**Wash your face at most three times a day
**Stop touching, squeezing or picking your pimples.
**Avoid scraping your pimples while shaving; be careful while shaving.
**Avoid the use of oil-based cosmetics
**Avoids foods that you know are capable of causing more breakouts of pimples.
**Drink at least 10 to 12 glasses of water a day to keep your skin healthy.
**Use a quality acne skin care product that fights your acne problem internally and externally.

Following these skin care tips is sure to erase those ugly looking acne pimples off your face and boost your self-confidence, self-esteem and your confidence to the highest levels possible. There are a few quality acne skin care treatment, which combats acne internally with the use of an oral supplement and externally with the use of a topical medication – which just means you would apply on top of your skin.
