Elizabeth Jurist, Michael Schwarzwalder

Elizabeth Paige Jurist, a daughter of Lynne and Eric Jurist of Wantagh, N.Y., was married last evening to Michael Jay Schwarzwalder, the son of Susan and Daniel Schwarzwalder of New York. Rabbi Jonathan Stein officiated at Carlyle on the Green in Farmingdale, N.Y.

Mrs. Schwarzwalder, 27, is a senior sales analyst for the theatrical production unit of the Walt Disney Company in New York. She graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa., and received a master's in performing arts administration from New York University. Her father is a senior vice president, working in commercial real estate finance and investment in the New York office of Deutsche Genossenschafts-Hypothekenbank. Her mother is an elementary school teacher in the Plainedge School District in North Massapequa, N.Y., and a vice president of the Plainedge Federation of Teachers.

Mr. Schwarzwalder, also 27, is the planner for women's contemporary denim at Bloomindale's and is responsible for managing inventory and financial planning for the division. He graduated from Northwestern and received an M.B.A. from New York University. His father is the senior managing director of Buckingham Capital Management, a hedge fund in New York, and a senior partner at the Buckingham Research Group, its broker-dealer division.
