Kathleen Moran, James Fisher

Kathleen Mary Rose Moran, a daughter of Mary and James J. Moran of Garden City, N.Y., was married yesterday to James Marshall Fisher, the son of Suzanne and Marshall Fisher of Rockville, Md. The Rev. Timothy J. O'Connell, a minister of the Association for Contemporary Catholic Life, officiated at the Cosmos Club in Washington.

Mrs. Fisher, 26, is a science teacher at Phillis Wheatley Middle School in Bridgeville, Del., and is an instructor of English as a second language in the adult education center of the Sussex Technical School District, also in Bridgeville. She graduated cum laude and received a master's degree in education from Cornell. Her father is a senior electrical engineer in a missile division of Lockheed Martin, the aerospace company, in Moorestown, N.J. Her mother is an office assistant at East Hills School, a public elementary school in Roslyn Heights, N.Y.

Mr. Fisher, 27, is the editor of The Delaware Coast Press, a weekly community newspaper, in Rehoboth Beach, Del. He graduated cum laude from Bowdoin and received a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern. His mother is the director of the receipt and referral division of the National Institutes of Health's scientific review center, which is in Bethesda, Md., and manages grant applications to the N.I.H. His father is a senior director for software engineering at Hughes Network Systems, a telecommunications company in Germantown, Md.
